I usually like to take pictures in a completely different way and to play with my tools.
So I usually try to do something different. To be more positive and full of life.

Wedding photographer Tuscany

There is a lot to see and do in Tuscany, the difficulty is really where to start. Certainly most should start with Florence, then continue on to Siena and Pisa. The roll call of città di arte, cities of art, is daunting: Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano and Lucca are all striking.
For decades, Tuscany has been one of the world’s top romantic wedding destinations,and with good reason! The sheer variety of breathtaking wedding locations in Italy is beyond compare…

You are getting married in Tuscany, and you  have a lot to think about. There’s the dress, the venue, the guests and the photographer. I am talented photographer and I will capture your emotions and document every detail of your wedding. I really love the raw emotions of a wedding: the tears, the laughter, the joy.

I am a  photojournalist and I will capture your wedding in Tuscany as it unfolds, rather then posing or staging.

Photo Tours 2010 2011

I've planned two really nice photo tours for the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011.
Here you can find all the information about them:
 Vittore Buzzi Photographer is synonymous with photo workshops and tours, photo travel, photo field trips, guided photography tours, nature, landscape and macro photography, or whatever 'label' one can put on what I do. If you prefer smaller groups of up to 12, would enjoy more time and attention, and return home as a better photographer.

What not to do when you hire a wedding photographer

I consider myself a commercial artist, with more than 300 weddings under my belt with a lot of enthusiastic couples. I’m member of WPJA, AGWPJA and I won very important awards in editorial and artistic photography, my images are collected by private people and by public institution. When I shoot wedding I really like to feel the love and the magic of the ceremony and of the reception. Usually the brides and grooms that I meet are so nice and enthusiastic about their wedding and we speak about pictures, candid moments, formals. The usually find me from the internet and the y are so happy the I’m going to shoot their weddings. Rarely the ask me a discount.

Once or twice a year I meet some ugly people that ask me an appointment they arrive on late they always criticize the pictures in a not polite and not intelligent way at the end they ask me a 20 to 30 % discount.

I act in a very polite way and I inform the bride and the groom that is not possible and that I’m not going to apply any discount. After two or three days I wrote them an email and I specify that I’m not any more free for their date.

A lot of you will think that I’m completely crazy letting go a lot of money only for proud. I’m not proud I only know that I will do my best for the couples that hire me as photographer and I have to feel the love of that day. If the couple that I’m going to take pictures for is empty, with nothing in their souls well is not a business for me.

Sometimes it happens that an ugly and not polite groom call me at the phone to ask me to go to their wedding but you know when I’m not shooting wedding during the week end I like to stay with my family with a lot of love and happiness around me.

So when you choose your wedding photographer you have to like his pictures. If you choose a wedding photographer only if he will give you a 30% discount you are not on my way.

It’ strange that always happens with very rich people, usually someone who inherit the richness from their parents or grandparents. Someone who does not know the meaning of hard work.

Ok.

Best destinations for a wedding in Italy
Italy is undoubtedly the world's most romantic location. What other country can boast of cities such as VENICE and FLORENCE or dramatic settings such as the RIVIERA, TUSCANY, CAPRI, TAORMINA, POSITANO and the LAKE DISTRICT with LAKE GARDA, LAKE MAGGIORE and LAKE COMO?

WEDDING IN VENICE
Civil weddings in Venice are celebrated in the elegant Palazzo Cavalli along the Grand Canal near Rialto Bridge. Venice allows weddings from Monday to Sunday, but applies different prices depending on day and time.

WEDDING in LAKE DISTRICT
The wedding town of Como is the main town for the most famous of all the Italian lakes - Lake Como - and it is an elegant wedding location and charming resort. We recommend that you marry here anytime from April through early Autumn.
Elegant villas, flowering gardens and parks as well as busy cafés are all part of the backdrop of this scenic romantic wedding destination. The heart of town is explored on foot. Dating from the middle ages, it is a delight to discover. Here some of the finest silks in the world are made. Whether you are looking for an elegant scarf or a swath of fabric for a dress, you should browse in the many shops offering a variety of multicolored options. Needless to say, a wedding dress made in Italy can be arranged here.
Civil wedding ceremonies in Lake Como can be celebrated in a variety of elegant villas, all of which are built on the lakeshore; ask our staff for advice. Catholic weddings are not available for non-residents, but we do offer other Italian destinations suitable for lake weddings in the North less than one hour from Como.
Lake Garda is the largest and the cleanest of the Italian lakes.
The southern part of lake Garda stretches along the flat plains of Lombardy and Veneto at its southern end, while the northern end borders with Trentino-Alto Adige and the surrounding Alps.
Lake Garda's shores are lush and fragrant with spectacular flowers, pine forests, olive and lemon groves, and cypress trees. A wedding set within Lake Garda offers a wide array of options for visitors, from the pleasures of the breathtaking landscape to the appreciation of the region's renowned areas and their respective stories.

Towns that are both historic and beautiful flank the portion of the Lake that lies in the Lombardy region. The colorful landscape here has attracted artists, writers and poets, because of its amazing power to influence and inspire. Places like Salo', a small town on the banks of Lake Garda, offer visitors a variety of recreational options while holding significant historical connotation. Benito Mussolini's Republic of Salo' was headquartered here.
Desenzano, one of the most famous holiday spots on Lake Garda, offers well-known sights such as the Castle, the Church of St. Mary Magdalene and the site of an famous archaeological dig.
Gardone Riviera, an international tourist destination, has the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the parish of St. Nicholas, the Hruska Botanic Gardens and Villa Alba.
The Romans discovered the hot springs that still flow from Sirmione, the celebrated resort on the portion of land at the lake's southern end. Sirmione spreads out along a narrow peninsula from where a spectacular view of both sides of the lake can be enjoyed. This area is full of art treasures, which can be viewed at the Scaliger Castle, through which one must pass to reach the town centre. The town itself is closed to public traffic, but the end of the peninsula, the Grotte di Catullo, can be accessed by shuttle.
Tignale and Tremosine both overlook the lake on plateaus where olive and fruit trees grow.
Limone is famous for its lemon groves, climate, and is also scrutinized by scientists because its residents carry the "apoprotein A1 Milano", a cholesterol inhibitor!
Lake Garda in the Lombardy region is a delightful destination for any occasion, but is particularly conducive to a magical marriage ceremony.
Lake Orta is a small pearl only 40 km from Milan airport. The lake has two beautiful wedding villages, very intimate and ideal for a romantic.
A Lake Maggiore Wedding will allow you to discover an unspoiled and romantic spot of Italy! On the borders of Piedmont, Lombardy and Switzerland, the Maggiore Lake (or Verbano), is the second largest Italian lake, after Garda. Most of the lake lies in Italian territory, only the most northerly end belongs to Switzerland. Mild climate with a lush vegetation, jagged snow-capped mountain ranges, gentle wooded hills, spectacular lake settings and wild nature reserves combine with man-made architectural and horticultural treasures. It is rare to find such a variety of landscapes in such a small area but Lake Maggiore has it all.
Nestled in the majestic Alps of Northern Italy, the breathtakingly lovely settings of Lake Maggiore has inspired countless poets and artists throughout the centuries. If you crave a romantic wedding this is the ideal destination!!
Although this part of Italy seems like a little bit of heaven remote from the rest of the world, it is a little over an hour from Milan and the international airport Malpensa is not much more than a 30 minute drive. The Monastery of Santa Caterina clinging to the rocky cliff; Stresa and the Borromeo Islands, small in size but rich in history, and the Castles of Cannero, island outpost of the Mazzarditi Brothers, infamous pirates of the Verbano, Pallanza and its gorgeours gardens are just a few of the timeless examples awaiting the visitor. Lake Maggiore will astonish you with its romantic restaurants with lovely terraces overlooking the lake which offer you a candlelight dinner tasting the local fresh fish, handmade delicious pasta and the local wine. Destination Wedding Photographer

Destination weddings are a growing trend. More than 18,000 American couples now get married overseas every year. Though some of those couples might hire a photographer that is coming from USA to capture their event, others will pay to have a local photographer like me to take picture for their the big day.

This is a very niche market.
The fact that destination weddings are smaller and more relaxed than the average domestic wedding can also make for a more flexible and creative shoot.
But there are some things to know about destination wedding: time spent traveling also means time lost from other jobs and most destination wedding photographers adjust their charges accordingly.Travel can also increase the risk of loss or damage to equipment: because of this, the three photographers say they never take more gear than they can hold in a carry-on. That means paring gear down to the bare essentials.

Destination Wedding gear.
Downsize, downsize, downsize: That’s the mantra of every destination wedding photographers.

Nikon D700 and Nikon D3 cameras in a Lowepro bag along with a couple of flashes, batteries and hard drives.

For Bride and Groom: hiring a Photographer
Finding a destination wedding photographer requires either finding a photographer who lives and works in the destination where you'll be married or finding one who is willing to travel to your destination. Destination wedding planners and location coordinators are a usually connected to photographers in your destination who are already familiar with the area. Planners and resort coordinators can occasionally even help you book their recommended photographer. The wedding photographer whish list
Usually I met a lot o couples that are going to get married in Italy few minutes before the wedding ... As a destination wedding photographer I know that is not easy to meet each other before the wedding.

There is something that I would like to tell to all brides and grooms:

1)I really enjoy to meet the bride and the groom before the wedding day for a coffee and a chat. It’ s the first contact, really important to act freely during the wedding. I’m a fly on the wall photographer during the wedding but it’s important to know each other and to understand what the couple think about their weddings. To understand if they want some posed, groups and when they want the photographer to take the pictures;

2) I really like brides that write to me to ask or to explain what they want, knowing the images the dreams help me to give to the couple a better service;
3) There are some brides that send me a little collection of old photos or link to my pictures that they like, they give me an idea of what they like most, so that I can imagine their tastes;

4) Sometimes I meet some grooms that give me a list of the must have images, once a groom give me a list of 36 groups shot to be taken… It was really funny a really though job for me and my assistant;
5) I really like to be connected on Facebook it’s easy to share information and to know a little bit more of each others.

I really know that being a destination Wedding photogtapher in Italy is really a nice job to do and I’m always happy about taking pictures of a wedding.
