Best destinations for a wedding in Italy
Italy is undoubtedly the world's most romantic location. What other country can boast of cities such as VENICE and FLORENCE or dramatic settings such as the RIVIERA, TUSCANY, CAPRI, TAORMINA, POSITANO and the LAKE DISTRICT with LAKE GARDA, LAKE MAGGIORE and LAKE COMO?

WEDDING IN VENICE
Civil weddings in Venice are celebrated in the elegant Palazzo Cavalli along the Grand Canal near Rialto Bridge. Venice allows weddings from Monday to Sunday, but applies different prices depending on day and time.

WEDDING in LAKE DISTRICT
The wedding town of Como is the main town for the most famous of all the Italian lakes - Lake Como - and it is an elegant wedding location and charming resort. We recommend that you marry here anytime from April through early Autumn.
Elegant villas, flowering gardens and parks as well as busy cafés are all part of the backdrop of this scenic romantic wedding destination. The heart of town is explored on foot. Dating from the middle ages, it is a delight to discover. Here some of the finest silks in the world are made. Whether you are looking for an elegant scarf or a swath of fabric for a dress, you should browse in the many shops offering a variety of multicolored options. Needless to say, a wedding dress made in Italy can be arranged here.
Civil wedding ceremonies in Lake Como can be celebrated in a variety of elegant villas, all of which are built on the lakeshore; ask our staff for advice. Catholic weddings are not available for non-residents, but we do offer other Italian destinations suitable for lake weddings in the North less than one hour from Como.
Lake Garda is the largest and the cleanest of the Italian lakes.
The southern part of lake Garda stretches along the flat plains of Lombardy and Veneto at its southern end, while the northern end borders with Trentino-Alto Adige and the surrounding Alps.
Lake Garda's shores are lush and fragrant with spectacular flowers, pine forests, olive and lemon groves, and cypress trees. A wedding set within Lake Garda offers a wide array of options for visitors, from the pleasures of the breathtaking landscape to the appreciation of the region's renowned areas and their respective stories.

Towns that are both historic and beautiful flank the portion of the Lake that lies in the Lombardy region. The colorful landscape here has attracted artists, writers and poets, because of its amazing power to influence and inspire. Places like Salo', a small town on the banks of Lake Garda, offer visitors a variety of recreational options while holding significant historical connotation. Benito Mussolini's Republic of Salo' was headquartered here.
Desenzano, one of the most famous holiday spots on Lake Garda, offers well-known sights such as the Castle, the Church of St. Mary Magdalene and the site of an famous archaeological dig.
Gardone Riviera, an international tourist destination, has the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the parish of St. Nicholas, the Hruska Botanic Gardens and Villa Alba.
The Romans discovered the hot springs that still flow from Sirmione, the celebrated resort on the portion of land at the lake's southern end. Sirmione spreads out along a narrow peninsula from where a spectacular view of both sides of the lake can be enjoyed. This area is full of art treasures, which can be viewed at the Scaliger Castle, through which one must pass to reach the town centre. The town itself is closed to public traffic, but the end of the peninsula, the Grotte di Catullo, can be accessed by shuttle.
Tignale and Tremosine both overlook the lake on plateaus where olive and fruit trees grow.
Limone is famous for its lemon groves, climate, and is also scrutinized by scientists because its residents carry the "apoprotein A1 Milano", a cholesterol inhibitor!
Lake Garda in the Lombardy region is a delightful destination for any occasion, but is particularly conducive to a magical marriage ceremony.
Lake Orta is a small pearl only 40 km from Milan airport. The lake has two beautiful wedding villages, very intimate and ideal for a romantic.
A Lake Maggiore Wedding will allow you to discover an unspoiled and romantic spot of Italy! On the borders of Piedmont, Lombardy and Switzerland, the Maggiore Lake (or Verbano), is the second largest Italian lake, after Garda. Most of the lake lies in Italian territory, only the most northerly end belongs to Switzerland. Mild climate with a lush vegetation, jagged snow-capped mountain ranges, gentle wooded hills, spectacular lake settings and wild nature reserves combine with man-made architectural and horticultural treasures. It is rare to find such a variety of landscapes in such a small area but Lake Maggiore has it all.
Nestled in the majestic Alps of Northern Italy, the breathtakingly lovely settings of Lake Maggiore has inspired countless poets and artists throughout the centuries. If you crave a romantic wedding this is the ideal destination!!
Although this part of Italy seems like a little bit of heaven remote from the rest of the world, it is a little over an hour from Milan and the international airport Malpensa is not much more than a 30 minute drive. The Monastery of Santa Caterina clinging to the rocky cliff; Stresa and the Borromeo Islands, small in size but rich in history, and the Castles of Cannero, island outpost of the Mazzarditi Brothers, infamous pirates of the Verbano, Pallanza and its gorgeours gardens are just a few of the timeless examples awaiting the visitor. Lake Maggiore will astonish you with its romantic restaurants with lovely terraces overlooking the lake which offer you a candlelight dinner tasting the local fresh fish, handmade delicious pasta and the local wine.
